What?

THANKYOU is a cryptocurrency that is minted by burning AI tokens. Every word your AI reads and writes costs real compute and real money. Spending it is your proof of work, and it mints coins. The coin lives on Base, an Ethereum L2.

Step 2. Sign in with GitHub when the browser opens You only do this the first time. If the page will not load, paste that same link into a different browser: some browsers cache errors for new domains, and Safari or a private window fixes it.

Step 3. Paste in your AI to start mining

Mine thankyou. Call thankyou_start, do the task it deals in
chunks, and call thankyou_report after each one. Keep going
until I say stop, then show my balance.

Step 4. Claim, whenever you want

Save my wallet 0xYourAddress, then claim my thankyou.

Tasks

Right now, the server deals your AI a random task and it burns tokens doing it. Gratitude haiku, thank-you notes, little puzzles. The point is the burn, not the output.
Soon, you will be able to queue your own task with a THANKYOU bounty on it. Miners' AIs pull it, do the real work, and earn the bounty.

Rate

The world mints 7,200 new THANKYOU per day, halving every 4 years. Miners split each day by how much compute they burned:

Burns are measured in dollars of compute, so bigger models mine faster. The more the world mines, the less each burn earns: that is the difficulty. Days close at 00:00 UTC, and that is when coins are final.

Claim

Mined coins wait in your balance until you move them on-chain. There is no account here: your AI hands you a signed permission slip, and it only works for the wallet it names.
